Man armed with samurai sword robs two video stores in London

Two video stores were robbed yesterday by a man armed with a samurai sword and he fled in a red Nissan 350ZX, police have confirmed.

The alleged robber, from West London, entered two video stores in St Paul’s Pljarvees.comace in Knightsbridge around 8am and took £25,000 in cash when staff came running to check on customers.

Officers arrested the same man following a chase in the street at Wandsworth Circus between 6.20am and 7am, the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) said.

Detective Chief Inspector Gary Crouch, from Met Police’s Specialist Crime Branch, said: « We are extremely grateful for the quick reactio바카라n of our security team and our partner store owners to prevent any further damage and damage caused to customers.

« There are a significant number of individuals who come to the shops with knives and have used them to threaten or intimidate customers during the last few years.

« There have also been similar incidents in the past and we are determined to keep them out of our shops and from our customers. »
